Hygiene Pack Distribution

Hygiene Packs are funded through Health grants and are specifically for Homeless (8) Clients (this is how it is written in the grant). We need to be faithful to the grant funders both ethically and for reporting our use of funds with integrity. Therefore, Hygiene Packs are for Homeless Clients ONLY. Please follow the following procedure in registering a Homeless Client for a pack.

1)    Determine whether the Client is homeless (8) on the Client record.

2)    Review the “Comments” section of the record to determine Client eligibility (Clients may receive one pack once/month).

Note that Hygiene Packs are designated as being for "Woman/Mujer" or "Man/Hombre".

3)  In the “Comments” section of the Client record, place the date that the hygiene pack was distributed.

4)  And, if there is no listing for pack (i.e., New Clients) you may place the following comment (for example):

Hygiene pack: 08/19/04;

5)  The next time the Client receives a pack the date will be placed in the comments section, under Hygiene pack, following the semicolon.
